South Northumberland Pony Club Camp 2026

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 🏇✨

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of joining the South Northumberland Pony Club Camp at Little Whittington to talk all things 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. ⚖

It was great to speak about the service I provide in front of a load of enthusiastic pony clubbers, and answer all their questions including "𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒆𝒅?" (a state secret until this point 🤫)

I spoke about why maintaining a healthy weight is so important, and how a healthy weight can look 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 depending on a pony’s size, breed, age and individual needs. I also had the privilege of weighing over 30 of the ponies, giving riders and owners valuable, objective data to help them better understand and manage their ponies’ weight. 🐴

It was a really fun day of learning, with lots of lovely ponies of all shapes and sizes! I really enjoy speaking with young horse owners about weight management, especially when they are as engaged as these guys were!
