Service Description

At Horse Weighbridge North East we are fully committed to making our service accessible, friendly and affordable. We bring industry-leading expertise to your stable door with our fully mobile, battery powered and calibrated weighbridge. FREE height measurements included. The scales are a relaxed and pressure-free space welcome to equines big and small. I tailor my service to suit the client and I have a vast experience in managing laminitic, metabolically compromised and PPID horses as well as top athletes competing in a range of spheres. All weights are stored in a secure database to allow trend analysis and informed weight/condition tracking which can really benefit both horse and owner. Please consider the area zones for specific days before booking, all bookings will be subject to approval just to ensure routes are efficient and logical. Please also select the correct booking for the number of horses I will be seeing, price structure as follows: Service A: £15 per horse for 1 or 2 Horses Service B: £10 per horse for 3 or more Horses Bookings made outside of the North East Region will be subject to additional costs and/or a minimum amount of horses booked.

Cancellation Policy

To obtain a refund, the client must contact Kelly directly via email or telephone before the policy time limit (24 hours) to arrange a refund. Any cancellations of any service or appointment made later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will not be eligible for a refund. In the instance where a person is booking on behalf of other owners/caregivers, please be aware that the same cancellation policy applies. When booking on behalf of someone else it is strongly advised that you receive an upfront payment from them if you are wishing to pay online. Payments for services can be made on the day and we accept cash and card payments. We no longer accept BACS payments for services and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Cancellations and rescheduling are available until 24 hours prior to the appointment. Following a cancellation or a rescheduling request, clients must respect that during busy periods we will endeavor to reschedule their appointment to the nearest slot but due to location restrictions they may be waiting a number of weeks for a new appointment. If for any reason the service provider (Kelly Thomas) does not show to your appointment, this will be due to unforeseen circumstances such as a situation of force majeure or an emergency. Clients who have prepaid will be eligible for a refund however there is no recompense offered to clients who have not prebooked.
